As the weather heats up in Louisville, we decided to bring more friends to the Slingshot party. Our newest big kids and daredevils are smart, talented, and pretty cool. We can’t wait for you to meet them.
Our newest Product Manager is Sarah Bhatia.
Sarah Bhatia brings people together. In her decade plus of product and product-adjacent experience, her focus has been on cross-functional collaboration, asking lots of questions, and getting big results. She started her career in Chicago, working in product within the travel media space before moving home to Kentucky to manage bourbon and tourism brands. She then made the jump to healthcare, before joining the Slingshot team.
Sarah excels at strategy development, and getting the right brains in the room to solve big problems. She got her M.B.A. from the University of Louisville, and picked up a bonus degree in Distilled Spirits Business. Sarah is results-oriented, driven, and organized.
Sarah would describe herself as a daredevil, because she’s not afraid to ask “dumb” questions, get smart answers, and take (calculated) risks.
Was once trapped in a room with the Stanley Cup
Has a 100-pound Bernedoodle named Dover
Loves renovating old, ugly houses
Our newest Senior Developer is Aubrey Dyer.
Aubrey is a software engineer who got her start in formal logic as a philosophy undergraduate, and returned to complete a second degree in computer science. Before software, she worked as a translator from German to English, and spent some time in genetics labs working on wolf spiders. Biology remains a lifelong interest, but these days she mostly hunts other kinds of bugs.
Aubrey has several years of experience in C# and .NET, but likes being a polyglot developer; she’s currently becoming proficient in Rust.
Aubrey would describe herself as a daredevil on account of her try anything twice attitude and apparent disregard for her physical safety: she has studied Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the past 17 years.

She’s a Big Kid, and tells people: “I am a kid at heart, and I am still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.”
